The Geological Reserve of Haute-Provence is a real open-air museum to learn the history of the Earth. It is located just 30 minutes from our campsite.

Several routes have been laid out crossing a variety of landscapes with unspoilt nature.
Our recommendation:
- The Route du Temps (road of time): a marvellous circuit climbing in the mountains, skirting the abysses of Vançon. From the Durance, the Route du Temps goes up to Saint Geniez, suspended between sky and earth. Then, wander through the forest of Fontbelle and stroll through the green valleys of Thoard to reach the sunny hills of Asse (77km: Sisteron – St Geniez – Col de Fontbelle – Vallée de Thoard – Mallemoisson).
