Surrounded by hills and skirting the Durance river, l'Hippocampe is in the heart of an ornithological reserve. As one of Frances sunniest departments, l'Hippocampe enjoys good weather almost all year round. Being an owner also means access to services and site security all year round.
Today, 30 owners have placed their trust in l'Hippocampe and some have been doing so for almost 15 years!
Being an owner is an opportunity to meet new people and create connections. Various convivial meals are organized during the year between the owners: barbecues, Christmas meals, picnics on the banks of the Durance...
Volonne has the advantage of having the sunshine of a Mediterranean climate, but with cooler nights, due to its altitude of 430 metres and the proximity of the Durance river. You'll discover fields of lavender and olive trees as far as the eye can see. Thanks to the clean pure air, a beautiful starry sky is revealed at night.
The Sunêlia l'Hippocampe campsite is part of an Ornithological Reserve which is home to over 140 species of birds. The LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) PACA offers various bird-watching trails (lac des Mées, de L'Escale...)... It is the 2nd largest wetland in the southern region, after the Camargue.

First step, choosing your model: You can choose from 6 models of new mobile homes, which you can consult here. The mobile homes are delivered and installed with a covered terrace, garden shed and full inventory. Prices start from €59,500 including VAT.
Second step: calculating your rent: the rent for the pitch is degressive according to the number of weeks rented in high season (between 2 and 8 weeks). Example: If you rent a Sunêlia Confort 26m² for 8 weeks, your rent will be €41/month, i.e. €490/year. Possible rental income. Study on request.
