Activities for children and teenagers
In the heart of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region, we offer Sunny Clubs for different age groups so that we can tailor activities to suit everyone's needs. There is a Sunny Club for children aged 4 to 8 and one for children aged 9 to 12. They can come together to take part in a wide range of activities. Sports, creative or even evening activities organised especially for them. The Sunny Club is open from Sunday afternoon to Friday, from 10am to 12pm and from 3pm to 6pm. Our animators ensure your child's safety and well-being during all these activities.
Another Sunny Club is there especially for teenagers aged 13 and over. From Sunday to Friday, we offer them a reserved area where they can get together, chat or just enjoy the many facilities at our campsite in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Sports tournaments and barbecue evenings are organised. During the teenage disco, the disco is reserved for them and they can choose the music played. It's a real time for exchange, entertainment and fun.
Outside the summer season, an entertainment programme for children is planned during the Ascension and Whitsun weekends. Whatever the period of your stay, activities are organised for all ages to ensure that everyone has a good time at l'Hippocampe campsite in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
Infrastructure and activities dedicated to children
Jumping Zone
Since 2021, the jumping zone is the perfect place for your child to let off steam! With 400 m² of inflatables, your child can have fun all summer long. Jumping and exercising in complete safety in this area dedicated to your child's enjoyment! So don't miss a visit.
A full day
Don't miss the Sunny Club's not-to-be-missed Wednesday outing on the banks of the Durance. The programme for this day includes water sports and horse riding along the river. This day out, organised by our campsite in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, is not free and requires prior registration. Don't forget to bring a picnic to make the most of this outing.
Mini disco
The Hippo Club opens its doors to children several evenings a week, for the mini-disco! It's the perfect time for your children to have fun and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Supervised by our entertainers, children can dance and make great memories with new friends. See you at the Hippo Club!
Parade
It's Sunny and his friends' weekly event! They take part in a festive walk around the campsite, accompanied by lively music to spread joy and good humour. Don't miss this not-to-be-missed opportunity to be part of the magic of the parade with Sunny and his adorable companions!
Play ground
Our campsite with slides in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence offers an exceptional play area where children can have fun and let off steam! With slides, a geodome and even a rope climbing wall, these facilities guarantee hours of adventure and fun for your little ones.
Funfair
Come along to the water park for a fun-filled evening! A festive atmosphere guaranteed, with games and activities for all the family. Enjoy the music and have a great time with the many fun activities and challenges! This fun-filled evening promises joy, laughter and entertainment for all the family.
Children's show
All week long, the children are practising for their show! They are supervised and guided by our entertainers to ensure that they feel at ease on stage. Parents, be there for your children's performance, when they'll be proud to show you what they've achieved in their show.
Water Slides
Our slide facilities are ideal for the little ones! At our campsite with slides in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, you can enjoy four different slopes. Between pentaglides and slides, thrills guaranteed!
Paddling pool
At our campsite with swimming pool, the paddling pool with its adorable crocodile will delight the little ones on summer days. This small pool, specially dedicated to children, is designed to provide a safe, playful space where they can have fun and learn in shallow water.
Sunny Club (4-12 years)
At Sunny Club, from 4 to 12 years old, your children will have access to a multitude of sporting and creative activities. The activity leaders organise treasure hunts, orienteering and various sports tournaments, etc. In the warmer months, they can even take part in creative workshops in the air-conditioned yurt!
Sunny Club for Mini-Kids (4-8 years) & Kids (9-12 years)

Open from 10am to midday and from 3pm to 6pm, the children alternate between outdoor sports activities and creative workshops in the warmer hours, in an air-conditioned yurt at the heart of a campsite in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence:
- Sports activities: the activity leaders organise orienteering races, treasure hunts, mini Olympics and various sports tournaments (beach volleyball, table tennis, football, etc.). Once a week, we organise an all-day water sports and horse-riding outing on the banks of the Durance (fee payable - prior registration required - please bring a picnic)
- Creative workshops: the children meet up by age category to reveal their creative spirit in a variety of projects such as photo frames, dream catchers, pencil pots, pottery... as well as cookery workshops. Their aspiring artistic talents can be developed in singing, dancing and acting workshops run by our artistic team.
- Children's evenings: as part of the Sunny Club, our entertainers organise Ciné Popcorn evenings and evening parties for children!
From Monday to Friday, there's a mini-disco at the Hippo Club disco with our mascot Sunny!
Finally, Friday evening is the children's show! Throughout the week, the children get ready to take to the stage for the children's show before the party.
- The parade of Sunny and his friends: The children are also delighted to see Sunny in the parade of characters that takes place twice a week in the campsite's central alley. Children can even leave with an autographed photo!
Activities dedicated to teenagers
Full day 13-17 years
A whole day (from 10am to 4pm) dedicated to water sports and equestrian activities (fee payable - prior registration required - bring your own picnic).
Sports tournaments
Various sports tournaments involving beach volleyball, tennis, basketball... with the entertainers!
Evenings
Evenings with teenagers are organised in the yurt village by the entertainers (e.g. Barbecue party).
Disco
Head to the Hippo Club for the teen disco!
Teen Club
We know that teenagers like to sleep in... That's why the Teens' yurt is open almost* every afternoon on weekdays!
*The Sunny Club is closed during the full day outing.

From Sunday to Friday, young people can meet in a place entirely dedicated to them in order to make friends, listen to music, dance, sing, play video games, take part in supervised sports tournaments or even express their creative spirit during various workshops
Evenings parties are also organised (e.g. barbecue evenings) in the yurt village. The disco will be specially reserved for them during the teen disco.
All our activities are free, however we ask for a participation fee for evenings activities including meals, as well as for the full day outing.
